About Albert Rafael

Albert Rafael is an audiovisual creative born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, and raised in Santo Domingo, where he discovered his passion for art at an early age. What began as simple drawings in school notebooks gradually evolved into a career focused on visual production, encompassing graphic design, photography, and audiovisual storytelling. His entry into the digital world began with Adobe Photoshop, a tool that marked the starting point of his exploration into design and image editing. From there, he expanded his skills into professional photography, video editing, and creative direction. In 2018, he made the decision to fully dedicate himself to this path, combining technique, vision, and creativity. Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of working as a photographer and filmmaker for the Specialized Corps for Airport Security and Civil Aviation (CESAC), developing institutional and documentary audiovisual content. He is currently part of the Judiciary of the Dominican Republic, where he continues to apply his audiovisual production knowledge to strengthen institutional communication and the visual representation of the entity’s values and services. He is also pursuing a degree in Cinematography at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD), complementing his professional experience with a strong academic foundation.
