Being no stranger to the stage, Brittney began her journey into theater with Soul Rep in 2020 by portraying the role of Anarcha in the filmed version of Do No Harm written by playwright Anyika Herod-McMillan, and in 2021 she dominated in her first live theater performance, taking on her first lead role as Daughter in Soul Rep’s production of Shay Youngblood’s Shakin’ the Mess Outta Misery. Since then, Brittney has lit up the stage at Dallas Theater Center, reprising her role as Anarcha in the staged version of Do No Harm and portraying the role of “8” in Aleshea Harris’ What to Send Up When It Goes Down at Stage West Theatre in Fort Worth. Brittney attended Lancaster High School, where she found her love for the arts by majoring in dance and, shortly after graduating, performing with the Loris Beckles Dance Company in Dallas, TX. Brittney started her acting career in 2016, studying scene work and character analysis under Theresa Bell at the TBell Actors Studio.
