Cathy Worthington was born in Washington D.C. Her father was a World War II veteran, mother was raised in North Carolina. She moved to Riverside, CA with her family, where her father was an Electronics Engineer for the government and her mother was a homemaker. She is the oldest child with 2 younger brothers. She moved to LA to attend UCLA Theater Arts where she received her BA in Theater. She did her first professional film while still a student at UCLA. The day after graduation she was hired as part of a "Bunny Hunt" to be a Playboy Bunny in the Century City LA Club. She found it a great way to pay bills while pursuing acting. She had many opportunities to attend the Mansion parties but says "My lips are sealed!" She met her husband while working at the Club, where he was managing an act who was appearing there. She had always loved horses, and started taking dressage when she got her first horse, and later she and her husband raised Dutch Warmbloods on their Eagle Oak Ranch, which they built in Paso Robles. She still rides dressage and has a warmblood horse. She has traveled extensively and adores Paris, NYC, Rome, Egypt, Kenya. She has been married to Ken Kragen for 40 years. Her daughter, Emma Kragen, is a cinematographer from the UCLA MFA program in Film. She is a confirmed twice-a-day meditator. She is becoming an Instagram influencer (@iamcathyworthington) and can't wait for her series regular role!
