Gavin Dodds is an English guitarist. After leaving the Jazz/Funk band Jamiroquai in 1994, he formed the duo Samuel Purdey with Barney Hurley. In 1999, the duo released their first and only album, Musically Adrift. In 2001, he formed the virtual band Spacemonkeyz with Darren Galea and Richie Stevens. In July 2002, the band released Laika Come Home, a reworking of Gorillaz's debut album.
