She was the first singer to appear on experimental Greek television (1966) and the third artist of Greek origin to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest (Tzimis Makoulis, first (for Austria), Nana Mouskouri, second (for Luxembourg)), representing Switzerland in 1965.
