About Hans Hass Jr.

Hans Hass jr. was an Austrian singer and actor. The son of diver Hans Hass and actress Hannelore Schroth, he rose to fame as a folk singer in the mid-1960s. A little later, he appeared in a number of mostly sleazy films, but soon turned his back on the film business. Several failed attempts to build on his earlier pop successes followed, whereupon he turned to new philosophies of life and composing new-age music. He committed suicide in 2009.
