Jordan Cann was born on October 3rd to professional artist, Malcolm and Sandra Cann, R.N. He was raised in Queens, NY, and at the age of 7, when he relocated to Hampton, VA, he discovered his first talent: dance. He choreographed his first original piece, "Shackles" at the age of 12. He later went on to study ballet, jazz, Latin, African and ballroom, but he could not deny his love for hip-hop. When he wasn't dancing he was excelling in the martial arts and gymnastics. Jordan was later introduced to acting when he was given the lead role in a church play. After high school he decided to take his talents to Hollywood. There he started as a professional dancer working with artist such as Will.I.Am, Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, 50 Cent, Celine Dion and more while landing commercials for companies such as Dreamworks, Axe, Verizon , Little Caesars, and Nickelodeon. His martial arts came in handy, landing him a small role in the movie, "Straight Outta Compton." After working on large sets, his passion for filmmaking started emerging. Jordan decided to enroll in the Los Angeles Film school where he earned his degree, specializing in editing, writing, and directing. Since then he has produced several award winning films for his production company, J&S Film Productions, which he started with Aaron Thompson. He is bi-coastal between Atlanta and Los Angeles, acting and producing films.
