About Mateo Ray Garcia

Mateo Ray was born in Walnut Creek, CA and is a 11-year old young actor and slow fashion model. He was recently awarded as the 2022 and 2024 Young Artist Academy (YAA) winner for 'Best Young Actor in a Short Film' role for the PBS special, 'The Daily War' and the LA Shorts Film Festival film, 'See You at Sunrise'. He most recently appeared on the TV network series, 9-1-1, Mayans M.C., and Netflix's Magic for Humans John Mulaney's 'Everyone's in LA'. Very quickly Mateo Ray earned roles in numerous television, film and commercial productions. Additional credits include: FX/Hulu's 'Dave', NBA MLK Day TV commercial, WalMart, and a few live stand-up comedy gigs. In addition to building an impressive resume before age 11, Mateo Ray is on a personal mission to make friends on every set he works on, by consistently exuding charm and joy, paired with a shiny personality, mature work ethic and an affinity for telling a few good jokes.
