Born in Boston and the oldest of two siblings, Sam Ball moved to the northwest suburbs of Chicago with his family in his early years. In addition to an athletic background, Sam has had a lifelong passion for performing, and while attending St. Norbert College he was cast as Adam in the Neil LaBute play "The Shape of Things." After college, Sam found success in stand-up comedy and film acting while in Chicago before ultimately moving to LA where he transitioned into television and live show production. In late 2022, Sam was cast in the recurring role of Mick Foley/Mankind on "Young Rock."
