Her Father is award winning and acclaimed Panamanian Poet, Journalist and Diplomat Demetrio Korsi, author of "Incidente de Cumbia," his most famous poem and over 20 books. Her Mother is Eloísa Sandoval de Korsi, also an award winning writer, and Demetrio Korsi's historian. Both are now deceased, as are Sheila's siblings, Jacqueline, Dolly Elena and Demetrio III. Sheila is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and of SAG-AFTRA.
