He is known for his work as lead actor in Anak Dalita (1956), Badjao (1957), and Biyaya ng Lupa (1959), as well as for roles he played in Sakada (1976), Sister Stella L. (1984), and Misteryo sa Tuwa (1984). He has also appeared on the long-running TV series Flordeluna.
