An Emmy award winning journalist, Lavie was a senior producer for ABC NEWS and Middle East Bureau chief for SKY News reporting on the aftermath of 9/11 from New York City, London and Baghdad for more than a decade. She has independently directed and written two documentaries; How We Won - the untold story of Egypt during the October war (2013) and Why Didn’t You Say So (2017). Her latest documentary, Ahed, about the life and battle of Ahed Tamimi, is currently being filmed in the village of Nabi Salih, in the occupied west bank.
