A former Pro Football Writers of America president, Marvez has was covered the NFL since 1995 and has a Hall of Fame vote. In 2019, Marvez has joined the professional wrestling promotion All Elite Wrestling as a play-by-play commentator and became a part of the inaugural broadcast team, alongside Jim Ross and Excalibur. As of October 2019, Marvez will became the backstage interviewer for AEW. He has previously written for The Washington Times and has been appeared as a guest on various shows including the Geraldo Rivera Report, the Dan Patrick Show and Lou Dobbs Tonight.
