José Abelardo Barbosa de Medeiros (Surubim, 30 de setembro de 1917 — Rio de Janeiro, 30 de junho de 1988), o Chacrinha, foi um grande comunicador de rádio e televisão no Brasil, como apresentador de programas de auditório, enorme sucesso dos anos 1950 aos 1980. Foi o autor da célebre frase: "Na televisão, nada se cria, tudo se copia"1 . Desde a década de 1970 era chamado de Velho Guerreiro, conforme homenagem feita a ele por Gilberto Gil que assim se referiu a Chacrinha numa conhecida letra de canção que compôs chamada "Aquele Abraço".
