Dave Hernandez (born Yanul David Hernandez-Campos LaBastida Barreras; September 20, 1970) is a Mexican guitarist, singer and songwriter. He is best known as a former member of the American indie rock band The Shins, with whom he recorded four studio albums (bass, guitar, backing vocals (1998–2000, 2003–2009)).
