However, he is probably best known for his directorial efforts, which include the "Chronicles of Riddick" series; Pitch Black in 2000, The Chronicles of Riddick in 2004, and Riddick in 2013. A fourth film in the franchise was announced in 2023 and is set to be written and directed by Twohy.
