Dmitry Leonidovich Davydov (Russian: Дмитрий Леонидович Давыдов; born 22 February 1983, Amga, Sakha/Yakutia) is a Russian filmmaker and actor. He graduated from the Pedagogical Institute and worked as a psychologist, teacher, organizer of the children's movement and school director before turning to filmmaking. In 2014, he made the feature film «The Bonfire» on his own. The film was in post-production for more than two years. The film had its world premiere at the 21st Busan international film festival in 2016. (2016) Member of the Asia Pacific screen Academy. (2020) Film "Scarecrow" was a participant of Sochi Open Russian Film Festival "Kinotavr".
