About Dolours Price

Dolours Price (1950-2013) was a Provisional Irish Republican Army volunteer. She grew up in an Irish republican family and joined the IRA in 1971. She was sent to jail for her role in the 1973 Old Bailey bombing, and was released in 1981. Dolours was married to Irish actor Stephen Rea from 1983 to 2003. She died in 2013 after taking a mix of sedatives and anti-depressants. Her death was ruled accidental by the Dublin Coroner's Court.
