About Faryal

Faryal Manmohan (born November 3, 1945) is a former Indian and Israeli actress and dancer who was popular during the late-1960s and early-1970s. Born to an Indian father and a Syrian-Lebanese mother, Faryal reluctantly entered Bollywood and achieved fame as a cabaret dancer in Jewel Thief (1967). She reportedly hated dancing and her unhappiness with subsequent exotic dancer typecasting persuaded her to retire. She moved to Israel in 1984 and has been living there since.
