Hana Rebecca Hatae (born July 15, 1988, in Tarzana, California) is an American actress best known for her role as Molly O'Brien in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. She first appeared as the character in the TNG episode "Rascals" and later appeared in 11 episodes of DS9 between 1993 and 1999. Hatae started acting at a young age. She shared that she was very young when she got the role and didn't have a clear memory of her early experiences on the show. She recalls her time on DS9 fondly, especially episodes like "If Wishes Were Horses," where she was scared by a character, and "Time's Orphan," which involved some memorable outdoor scenes. After Star Trek, Hatae stepped away from acting, involving herself in music and sports, including roller hockey and violin.
