About Joey Rourke

A native of Schenectady, New York, Rourke later moved to Miami Beach, Florida, where he attended and graduated from the Miami Beach High School. The brother of actor Mickey Rourke, he later moved to California to work as an actor, stuntman, and on other film related activities. Among his films are, "Johnny Handsome" (1989), "Wild Orchid" (1990), "Bullet" (1996), and "The Last Outlaw" (1994). Rourke passed away at the age of 50 on October 6, 2004, after a long battle against cancer.
