MacOwan appeared in a number of movies including: BBC Sunday-Night Theatre (1950), Tread Softly Stranger (1958), Kidnapped (1960), and The City of the Dead (1960). He was married to Violet [Ellen] Stephenson (actress). He died on December 31, 1961 in Hastings, East Sussex, England.
