At the age of five, he began his musical training at the Koléa Conservatory of Arab-Andalusian Music, where he studied the mandolin and other musical instruments. The singers and musicians who most influence him are Cheb Khaled, George Wassouf, Santana, Bob Marley, Alpha Blondy, and of course Cheb Hasni, considered the king of Algerian sentimental songs, who are his key influences. He is influenced by the modernity of Algerian music and Raï, which he considers incredibly rich in its diversity. Reda Taliani's music blends Chaâbi, Raï, and other traditional Maghreb musical styles. In many of his songs, he describes the harsh realities faced by young people in Algeria. His lyrics are so powerful that some critics, eager for criticism, have labeled some of them "excessive and leading to youth suicide." He was introduced to the French Rap-R&B scene in Rai'NB Fever 2 with the song "Cholè Cholè," for which he received a platinum record. He collaborates with rap artists like Rim'K from 113, with whom he recorded the hit "Partir Loin", the original music for the film "Il Était Une Fois Dans L'Oued" (2005).
