At the age of 17 she moved from Catanduva to Campinas, where she soon joined the theater company Mambembe: a Sia Santa. At the age of 19 she went to live in São Paulo. When she debuted in the soap opera Despedida de Solteiro she saw her career take off, both on television and in theater.
