About Rosie Roy

Born and raised in the heart of French Canada, Quebec City, Rosie is a bilingual artist fluent in both English and French. Initially trained as a dancer, she earned her diploma in Contemporary Dance from L'École de danse de Québec. Her journey in the arts began with a strong foundation in movement, which she expanded by honing her skills in hip hop at Studio Party Time. Rosie competed multiple times at the World Hip Hop Dance Championship, showcasing her dedication to diverse forms of expression. In 2021, she seamlessly transitioned her focus from dance to acting, combining the physicality of her dance background with the emotional depth of the acting craft. Rosie continued her artistic education by obtaining an acting certificate at UCLA Extension (2023), solidifying her commitment to excellence in her newfound career. Since making Los Angeles her home, Rosie has tirelessly refined her acting skills through training at prestigious institutions such as Baron Brown Studio, Lesly Kahn & Co., The Groundlings, and BGB Studio. Not limiting herself to acting alone, Rosie remains dedicated to her dance training, specifically in heels, and is embarking on a new venture into the world of theatre. Her unwavering pursuit of excellence in both dance and acting reflects her passion for the arts and commitment to continuous growth in her craft.
