S. Anil Kumar, also known as Douthyam Anil, is an Indian film director & screenwriter, best known for his works in Malayalam action films. Some of his renowned works are, Adiverukal, Douthyam, & Soorya Gayathri, to name some. He was part of the core team that established Amrita TV in 2005 and played a key role in its launch. From the time of its formation, he served as the Production Director, contributing significantly to the channel’s creative and operational vision. He has also worked with renowned Poet and Songwriter, Late Mr. O. N. V. Kurup. The film "Soorya Gayathri" features music composed by Raveendran, with lyrics penned by O.N.V. Kurup. The song was called (Aalila Manjalil).
