Began making adult films in 1970 using the pseudonym Warren Stephens/Stevens. In 1976, he founded the film studio Nova and directed more than 100 short films under the name Robert Walters. In the late 1980s, he went to work directing films for Catalina Video, changing his alias to Scott Masters. In 1992, he co-founded Studio 2000 with fellow director John Travis.
