He retired in September 2012 before returning to the ring in July 2016 and is currently signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling, where he is a member of House of Torture and a one-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion. A longtime freelancer best known for his work in Michinoku Pro Wrestling and DDT Pro-Wrestling, Togo is a three-time KO-D Openweight Champion, three-time KO-D Tag Team Champion, four-time DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Champion, one-time MPW British Commonwealth Junior Heavyweight Champion, one-time MPW Tohoku Junior Heavyweight Champion, and one-time MPW Tohoku Tag Team Champion.
