About Shiu-Cheng Tsai

Born in 1979 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, the director has been interested and passionate about painting, cartoons, and movies since he was a child, and he continues to create in his own individual studio. The animation, "Time of Cherry Blossoms" won the grand prize at the 2013 Tokyo Anime Awards and was exhibited at theaters in Japan. The director is devoted to creating local and distinctive original animation in Taiwan, and collaborates with Taiwanese comic artists and novelists to adapt comics and literary novels into animation works.
