He formed a duet with writer Osama Anwar Okasha and they worked together on many series such as My Dear Children, Thank You (1979), And the Sea Said (1982), Abo El Ela El Beshri S1&2 (1985&96), The White Flag (1988), and The Foul Wind (1991), among many others. He's also directed several films such as Love in a Jail Cell (1983) and Nasser 56 (1996).
