Xin Ge (1917-2000) participated in the China Travel Troupe in Peiping and performed plays such as "Thunderstorm" and "The Wilderness". In 1938, he participated in the Chinese Art Troupe in Hong Kong and played a role in the film "Island Paradise". During the Liberation War, he served as the deputy regiment of the Third Field Army's 1st Literary and Cultural Regiment and the 20th Army's Cultural Regiment. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he was the deputy director and director of Shanghai Film Studio and the deputy director of Tianma Film Studio.
