Critic Reviews for 10/31 Part 2
First off the mock trailers are fun. Don’t skip over those at all. I would like to see Treaters and The October Kids become full movies. Also The Candy Taker. Onward to the segments: (X) for the favorite segments A Samhain Liturgy (X) - 80's vibes with a boy name Tommy making masks. His friend isn’t the usual friend though. Dead Lift - Halloween style Lyft ride story with a vampire or is he? Apache Hatchet Massacre 2 - don’t blink or you’ll miss it. Seriously I had to rewatch this one. Overkill (X) - This is what we don’t see during these Halloween killings. Sister Mary - Even a nun has to face her sins and the demon that comes with it. The wraparound like the first 10/31 anthology was okay. Nothing over the top. The music, which a lot of it was done by Rocky Gray, was awesome. Definitely worth checking out this and the first one for some weird, bloody, and delightful Halloween stories in anthology form.
