Critic Reviews for Beneath
not to be confused with the other film of the same name from 2014 Respect to all involved, but I can't say I enjoyed 'Beneath'. It's a low-budget, amateur film so I'm obviously not going to hammer it - nor does it deserve one anyway. It's, relatively, solid. The horror aspects are OK, while there are a few nice shots and some decent editing. It's just the level of acting and ending that lets it down, the lowly feel to the film is actually fine - if anything it makes it more intimate. As always, I rate anyone who makes a film and I like to watch any production out there. This isn't much to shout about though.
