Critic Reviews for Gettin’ Ready
This porn film is in the "School For Sex" genera, similar to _Les Petites Ecolieres_ or _Mädchen Ohne Männer_. In it a three day camp is established to teach young girls how to "become women," although learning how to have sex seems to be the only thing that entails. The A plot follows two besties who are both quite horny and have already had sex, despite what their moms think. They are stereotypical "valley girls," entitled, self-obsessed. But neither is rendered unlikable. Charming. The B plot follows a girl (played by Angel West) who feels she doesn't fit in and instead wanders off to look at birds with a boy who is a fellow ornithologist, and the two bond and form a romance. They expresses that they would both rather have sex rooted in love than the kind the camp teaches. There is a very romantic sex scene between those two that is quite enjoyable. They have good chemistry and they call each other "love" and "my love" and it's rare to see such tenderness in porn movies. It's nice that this is one of the final sex scenes in the movie. It can be hard to enjoy porn movies because they often have voilence or other gross things and this movie is enjoyable for what it lacks. It may lack a big budget, much of a plot, or good acting, but it also doesn't include anything gross that makes it uncomfy to watch, and for that reason it's unusually good. Worth the watch if you're feeling horny.
