Critic Reviews for It's Showtime
Yeah.... you've seen this one before. No, you literally HAVE seen this one before, at least parts of it when they called it "Sunset Strip," filmed it on pretty much the same location, used the same case, and a lot of the same scenes. Only as where Sunset Strip was kind of about a dancer that needed to become a stripper to be a literal dancer and over come.... whatever... ... It's Showtime has a plot that kind of vaguely makes a little more sense. It's a little more violent, it's a little more revenge driven... only in a strip club with a plot that Maria Ford kind of did better when she found herself in the same back-to-back filming two B movies about strippers at once and using some of the scenes interchangeably to save money early 90s indie B-Movie situation. That being said, you know that this is bound to happen, you know exactly the quality you are going to get when you sit down to watch it... and for what it is it's not bad. But, you know, don't expect much out of it. It's a bad movie, but it's a bad movie that knows it's a bad movie, that's made to be a bad movie... all for your entertainment.
