Critic Reviews for La luna
A young lad sets off early one morning with his father and grandfather in their fishing boat for his first ever day at work. Amidst a calm sea, they stop and soon the lad is sent up into the heavens - with the anchor. Where to? Well it's soon clear that, armed with their brooms, their job is to sweep up the star dust that lands on the moon - and his elders cannot always agree on the best strategy! Their daily job done, and after quite a bit of initiative from the young man with a particularly stubborn star - they descend leaving a perfect crescent to reflect the sunlight. It's a charming little seven minute piece of cinema, this - the animation and the music marry really engagingly as the youngster realises just what he is going to be doing for a living! Well worth a few minutes of your time - it will put a smile on your face.
