Critic Reviews for À l'ombre des grands baobabs
A rather nicely, if basically, photographed short drama about "Lily" (Nathalie Boutefeu) and her soon to be husband "Grégoire" (Nicolas Koretzky) as they live an idyllic, bucolic, life with her mother in their remote woodland cottage. The couple are clearly in love as they head towards a wedding day celebrated with fireworks and a great big party. It's clearly been done on a shoestring budget and has something of the student project to it, but it is easy enough to watch. Don't expect to recall it, though - unless you were actually in it.
