Critic Reviews for The Assent
We have seen a lot of exorcism movies, a thousands of them and this one doesn't deliver anything special. It's one of the copy of those copycat movies. And besides that, at least some of those copycat movies were scary, this one lacks even that. It's extremely slow and boring. They also abused chromatic aberration effect and used it with excessive amount. It's so strong and so often in here that I had a hard time to watch this movie at all.
