Critic Reviews for Warning: Do Not Play
The concept of a terrifying film created by a ghost has a lot of potential in terms of scare capital. Sadly the script fails to cash in. This films biggest shortcoming is its lack of consistency and direction with its script. It starts off promisingly enough but then gets lost in its own surreal, confusing world, of jump scares and creaking doors. Or put another way it tries too hard to be clever, when a much simpler approach would have served it far better. On the upside the acting is decent, cinamatics atmospheric and eerie but its nowhere near enough to make up for other conspicious shortcomings. In short a frustratingly mind bending watch. 3/10.
