Twenty-seven years later, the roar is back. Border 2 doesn't try to reinvent the wheel; instead, it polishes the old one to a brilliant shine. Sunny Deol remains the soul of the franchise, delivering lines with a conviction that modern stars struggle to emulate. The scale is massive, but the heart remains centered on the camaraderie of the soldiers. The tank battle sequence in the desert rivals the intensity of Gadar 2, though it lacks the tight editing of the original 1997 classic. Some of the CGI in the aerial combat scenes feels a bit dated compared to Fighter, but the background score keeps the adrenaline high. The scene where Sunny's character reflects on the letters from home is the emotional high point.
